The law of Attraction at work

So I attracted a new friend into my life who is a seamen, boat captain, online forex trader and surfer. All of the things I told the universe that I wanted to learn how to do. Today we met up today and exchanged services to help one another. What was the services? I trained him on some self defense moves being that he is just beginning his martial arts journey. In return he is helping me o learn about water survival, swimming and giving me information about online trading.

Thank you Universe for hearing my requests. I am so grateful that the Universe has brought me this new friend.

I feel good when I think about...

Today I had such a wonderful time in my mastermind group. First we played a game where everyone in the group took turns saying I feel good when I think about.... and then each person would say what they feel good about. It was made into a game where everybody took a turn going around in a circle.

The idea behind this is that every time a person stated what made them feel good when they thought about it, everyone in the group would take a moment and lift that persons desire up and give it to the universe thus activating the law of attraction. We held each others wants in our minds collectively raising the energy and vibration of each others desires. It was Great!

I am so thankful for my coaching and my mastermind group. It is truly a blessing in my life. Another important thing I learned today in the group is that you should give from a belief that you know your in a self perpetuating cycle of abundance. The more you give cheerfully the more you receive from the universe. There is no such thing as sacrifice or loss when it comes to giving.

Spent most of my day in meditation

Today I spent most of the day downloading some great meditation mp3's from Steve G Jones website. I am a Scorpio rising and have just learned that it is my goal to evolve from the the Scorpion to the Golden Eagle.

As I am evolving I am becoming stronger and more in love with who I am.

Emotional Freedom Technique

Today I decided to create my own personalized tapping solution for a major bad habit that I am coping with. I noticed that every time I gave into the habit it was because I had no way of neutralizing the negative emotion as soon as it showed up in my thoughts.

I would always listen to general "EFT" statements from other practitioner's like Brad Yates but never really took the time to create my own personalized "EFT" script for my own personal limiting beliefs. Now that I have created it, I can start to use it when I notice the negative emotion trying to pop up.

Most people don't even know that there are ways to control your thinking on a conscious level so that you can operate on a more productive level daily. For years I did not know this until I took the action to go to war against myself. I am glad I took that first step.

James Allen in the book "As a Man Thinketh" says that a person will continue to fail consistently until all weakness has been purged from them. During their journey of failure after failure, they would have built a character that is unshakable.

Made it through today

Today was a difficult day for me with my emotions but I utilized my training and was able to get past the negativity. I also met a friend who is going to help me with some important tasks that I am trying to accomplish. His family may be added to my mastermind group that I meet with regularly although it would probably be just me and his family meeting locally. Other than that I won today negativity.. you had no power over me today.

10 Road Blocks

I had a great session with my success coach we spent the whole hour in meditation working on overcoming 10 success blocks that have been blocking me all through my life. If your curious the ten blocks are as follows I often feel that I am:

  1. Not Worthy
  2. Not Ready
  3. Not Clear
  4. Not Enthusiastic
  5. Not Open
  6. Not Healthy
  7. Not Willing
  8. Not Prepared
  9. Not Helpful
  10. Not Realistic

But I am creating new patterns of thinking that are allowing these 10 blocks to dissolve out of my life.

I won the day

Had a good day to day despite some negative thoughts creeping up during the day. I am happy to say I was able to neutralize a lot of the negativity I was feeling today by doing Theta Yogic breathing. This is the first time that I have actually been able to get rid of my negative emotions and soon as they popped up. This is all thanks to what I am learning in my coaching sessions.

Overcoming My Limiting Beliefs

Today I am learning a lot on how to overcome my limiting beliefs through a couple of different processes taught to me by my coach. I have tried several of these already and I am noticing how quickly they can neutralize the negative thinking that leads to limiting beliefs. I am learning that there are three steps to overcoming limiting beliefs which are:

  1. Neutralize the negative emotion (thought or Belief)
  2. Analyze the negative belief  (What is the benefit of this belief)
  3. Adopt and anchor a more powerful belief in its place (This takes the place of the old belief)

Here are some ways to accomplish step number 1

  • Theta Yogic Breathing
  • E.F.T
  • Ho-O-Ponopono
  • Brain Activation

I am so grateful that I have this coaching and that I am learning new tools each day that will help me to conquer my self and live the life that I desire.

I allowed my thoughts to overtake me today

Today I allowed negative thoughts to permeate my mind today. I noticed how they crept in as soon as I woke up and failed to do my morning meditation. I did recognize the negative thinking but I did not choose to dismiss those thoughts instead I dwelled on them and caused them to grow.

The lesson learned today is that when I notice negative thoughts starting to come in:

* I need to recognize them for what they are (Negative thoughts)

* I need to choose not to listen to them and delete them from my mind

* I need to recognize that these negative thoughts do not define who I am and do not belong to me

Stayed Productive today

One of my battles that I am fighting is procrastination. Procrastination is a silent killer of dreams that has been keeping me from reaching my full potential for a long time now.

I think one of the best ways to get rid of procrastination is to use time management skills that manages your whole day down to 15 a minute increments. This is something I am definitely working on conquering in my life.

I love you- Please Forgive me- Thank you

These three words can produce so much healing and gratefulness that I am making them part of my daily affirmations.

 I had a great day today, I started my day with meditation, went running, finished up some school work, went to my Martial Arts class and then ended my day with a great mastermind meeting that lasted an hour and 15 minutes. I am so grateful for this group that I meet with every week.

My Mastermind group that I meet with via teleconference has people in it from all over the world. Tonight we had like minded individuals from Costa Rica, Canada, California, Florida, New York, and Utah just to name a few places. I have never experienced a mastermind group until I signed up for my life coaching program. Napoleon Hill was right in saying that a Mastermind group is one of the most important steps to success that a person with a desire to succeed can do.

I am so grateful for this group and for my coaching sessions with my mentors. I am truly blessed to have found this support on my road to prosperity.

Planting the seeds of greatness in my daughter

Hi everyone, so my daughter always use to say daddy can I have some money for this or for that and I would give it to her. But it dawned on me that I am doing her a real dis service by just giving her money like that. So I came up with a plan.

  • For every documentary I give you to watch: I want a one page report or power point with minimum of 5 slides  on how you can use what you have learned in your life today.
    • Reward: $15 added to her pay pal acct

  • For every book I give you to read: I want a one page report or power point with minimum of 5 slides on how you can use what you have learned in your life today.
    • Reward: $25 added to her Pay pal acct

  • Create money out of thin air: You have to work with your cousin and come up with a way to make $50 together by buying and selling a legal product or providing a legal service
    • Reward: I'll match what ever you make dollar for dollar and add to your pay pal acct.



 I do this so that my daughter and nephews can start learning how to create and earn wealth in their lives. As time goes on, I do make the projects more difficult but the rewards are greater. Again because of my situation it is sometimes hard to come up with the money when they achieve their goals but I make it a priority to pay them.

The result is that both teenagers when wanting money say to me now, "(Dad or uncle), do you have a report for me to do? I need some money."

What do YOU do before your feet hit the floor in the morning?

Before my feet hit the floor this morning I went through a regular routine that I am trying to implement into a habit. I noticed that when I am asleep at night most of my dreams are based on whatever I was doing the night before. Most of my dreams tend to be of a negative nature and are not really empowering.


But I noticed that when I go to sleep and put on a affirmation CD of positive quotes and loop it so that the same affirmations play all night constantly, my dreams tend to be more positive. I guess those affirmations are working on my subconscious mind and eventually start to influence my dreams. Tonight I am going to put on a wealth affirmation meditational CD and see what I dream about.


I know that if I were to watch an action movie or horror movie right before I go to sleep or even if I am just focusing on a lot of negativity like the news, my dreams are directly affected and I wake up the next morning in a bad mood.

I don't know does this happen to you?



Before my feet hit the floor this morning this is what I did:

  • Did my morning 30 minute guided meditation

  • Used a method called Emotional Freedom Technique from my coach to clear some doubts in my mind about reaching my goals

  • Made a gratitude list on all the things that I am grateful for today

  • Read my personal mission statement with feeling.

How does a dad tell his daughter he is homeless?

To this day, I never told my daughter what I was dealing with when I was living in my truck. I always picked her up on the weekends, something she did not like because she wanted to spend that time with her friends. Before I would get her I always made sure to clear out my truck and clean it up. Anyone who has ever lived in there vehicle for any extended length of time is intimately aware of how everything seems to wear down on the inside very quickly.

I remember I had roaches inside my truck because I was eating inside and food got on the floor between the seats and everywhere else. Often times I had to urinate into a bottle because I did not have anywhere I could go without being turned away, especially in the middle of the night. Never the less I did my best to make sure everything was spic and span when I picked her up.

She had to know something was up when every time I picked her up we slept at a hotel. Even though I could not afford a hotel room I refused to spend one night in that truck with her. I was dead broke each weekend after I picked her up because I desperately tried to cover up my faults with going to the beach or movies and then to a nice hotel. At the time my pride as a man and father was so shattered that  I could not handle telling her I was homeless. 3KCRTHHUQQSG

She is 16 now and our relationship is a lot better. Although I am still not where I want to be its better than the truck and I am grateful for that. I think one day I will tell her I just don't know how to explain it to her. What would you say?

Have YOU ever woke up feeling angry and depressed?

Had a rough sleep last night and woke up feeling angry and down about my situation. However, my coach told me that it helps if before your feet hit the floor, do some meditation with subliminal Cd's and then show gratitude for your health and life. When I woke up, on a scale of 1-10 -  (1) feeling Fantastic and (10) feeling extremely depressed. I felt like a 7.

After the meditation and giving thanks, I raised my state to about a (3). I find myself in this constant battle where my negative thoughts surround me saying your life is screwed your broke and still homeless, just because your not sleeping in the truck no more don't think you have moved up in the world, your still a 34 year old man who is now living with his mother. I tell you the negative thoughts no exactly what buttons to push.

How can you or I deal with these negative emotions that try and steal the joy out of our day before it has even begun?

Well I know that focusing on where I am going not where I am currently at, helps keep one motivated for sure. In order to do this, I have found meditation and visualization to be great tools to start your day with a positive mind state. I have created multiple vision boards that showcase my goals being already accomplished. This is a tremendous positive booster when I feel those negative emotions starting to creep in.

What have I learned?


A homeless person is going to be bombarded with thoughts of failure constantly
  • Use Meditation and Gratitude every morning and night to combat these emotions

Gauge how you are feeling on a scale of 1-10 every morning and actively do things to lower the negative emotions
  •  Call me weird but when I get depressed during the day I watch the three stooges. The moment I start to laugh, my situation fades away and I start feeling joy and happiness.

Keep looking to the future

  • Create a vision board to pull yourself out of negative thoughts and to get you back on the road when you start veering off. I use a free site called www.digitaldreamboard.com I have like 5 or 6 boards all with different goals I want to achieve in each area of my life. You can create as much vision boards as you want on this site for free.

Have YOU ever just woke up with an idea and put it into action immeadiately?

So I made a crazy choice about a week ago to hire a success coach. I understand that in order to reach my goals I cant do it on my own. The program, the coaching, lasts for a year and takes me through everything from setting clear goals, to removing limiting beliefs, to coming up with a specific action plan to make my goals a reality.

The coaching is going to cost $100 a month for 12 months it is on a contract. Can I afford this? No I cannot it is going to cause me to have to stretch my abilities. But what is the alternative? I can try this on my own but when you have a coach it can cut the learning curve in half and give me the much needed accountability.

Sun Tzu said if you want your army to win a fight, place it in a position where there is no escape, where they have to fight or else they will die. By burning the comfort bridges behind me it is forcing me out of my comfort zone into a zone where I have no choice but to reach my goals.

I have to do this not only for myself but for my daughter and my two nephews. I owe it to them. So far the coaching has been going well I have unlimited access to a live coach that I can call at any time when their available. I also have access to a mastermind group that I meet with every week. Napoleon Hill said that having a mastermind group that you meet with regularly is extremely important. I recognize that.

Can a homeless man conquer himself and choose his destiny?

Most people say what has worked for them after they have reached a certain level of success in their lives. Since I am in the midst of my poverty mindset and don't really know what is going to work, I will discipline myself to post each day of my struggles and on my victories for that day.

 I have come to a point a desperate point, where I am challenging myself to conquer myself and my situation. The first place I am looking to make significant change is in my way of thinking. Will I pull myself up out of my current circumstances to the life that I want and desire? or will I quit and fail if it gets to hard?

I don't know what will happen.........

I am 34 years old, I just recently spent almost 3 years living out of my truck while working at a Job. The reason I had to live out of my truck is because I was faced with a simple decision, do I pay my child support? or do I use that money to rent a place to live? Unfortunately, I could not do both. I chose to pay the child support, despite the fact that my daughter and I really did not have a good relationship. In making this decision, I experienced one of the most difficult and embarrassing times in my life.

Here are the main areas that I am challenging myself to change in.

  • My thoughts: I consistently focus on what is not going right in my life and curse the universe
  • My Health: I am 5"8 and weighed 207lbs. I now weigh 180lbs
  • My Relationships: I am single and want a wife & Develop deeper relationship with Daughter & nephews
  • My Finances: I currently make $10,800 a year. I want to make that my monthly bring home pay
  • My Skills: I want to be a motivational speaker and author.
  • My Survival skills: I am one belt away from getting my first martial arts blackbelt
  • My Home: I want to have a roof over my head that is mine. I currently live with my mother
